BHMI is proud to announce that Nancy Sayles, a Software Design Engineer at BHMI, became a citizen of the United States when she took the Oath of Allegiance during a naturalization ceremony at the U.S. District Court in the District of Nebraska on July 8, 2016.

Nancy grew up in a small town of 1,000 on the Eastern German border right next to Poland.  She came to the U.S. in 2005 when she married her husband, Daniel.  For three years, they lived in New York before deciding to move to Omaha, Nebraska where most of Daniel’s family lives.  Nancy said, “We like Omaha because it has a much more relaxed atmosphere, and is a great place to raise our two sons.”

In addition to working at BHMI, Nancy is very active with community service and enjoys traveling.  She is also an avid soccer fan and movie buff.  Her favorite hobby is making artificial flower arrangements.  Her work can be found at country clubs, restaurants, assisted living venues, corporate offices, and private residences.  Nancy is also an all-around handyman.  Like her father, she is a skilled electrician and carpenter. And like her mother, she is an amazing chef.  Some of her specialties are German potato salad as well as cakes and small bakery goodies.

“It is an honor to have Nancy as a member of our team,” said Lynne Baldwin, President of BHMI.  She has been with BHMI since December of 2014.  She started as a Quality Assurance Engineer and is now a Software Design Engineer within the Concourse Product Division.

Everyone at BHMI is proud of Nancy.  It is a significant commitment to become a U.S. citizen and Nancy has completed the process with sincere dedication and integrity.
